My 5th Show in Kerkrade / Netherlands, September 2003
Since Master was not able to come along this time we took Mistress´s sister with us to help. That meant we spent the night at my human granddad. Everybody got up at 6.00 am. "Grand-ma" to brew the coffee and "Grand-dad" to make sure Mistress and my "aunt" did not leave the house without breakfast ...
At around 7.00 am my Mistress, "aunt" and me got into the car. "Grand-dad" had explained the rout to them several times. They still got lost. But we made it in time to the show.
We just managed to get ourselves settled before we had to enter the ring. They started really on time today. It is a pity that I was alone in the ring again. So we made a couple of rounds in the "energetic trot" before I presented myself. The judge felt my down and checked my teeth. Finishing his report he shook Mistress´s hand and said: "We´ll meet again in the ring of honor this afternoon".
I had bagged my third excellent 1 (want to read the judges statement?)! That meant I was allowed in the ring with the other winning girls, had my 3rd points for the CACIB of KDH and earned the title "Netherlands Winner".
Mistress was crazily happy. Just because I was the only one in my class the judge did not have to award the excellent 1. I was taken aback by all this excitement. But when Mistress explained that I was now a champion and could call myself "(KDH) Ch. Rhine-Side´s Amanda", I understood her happines. On the form for my next show we will mark the champions class ...
Oh.. I did not become best in show but that might have unhinged Mistress ...
