My 6th A1 Entry at the HSV Essen-Kupferdreh, July 2004

The "journey" to this trial took 15 minutes. Mistress thinks that should be the norm ...

This trial was written out for two runs. The test run and the Jumping. Since the test was to be done first and Mistress wanted to make sure that I worked the contact zones correctly she (as always) included the "tack" (=down) in our warm up.

I´ll shorten the story today ... ;-) After politely waiting for my starting signal I flew over the first jump and was in a great hurry. Because of that the poles on the next two jumps fell. Though the loop called to me something fierce I laid down on the contact zone of the dog walk at Mistress´s "ey ... tack - Missy!".

I also worked the contact zones of the wall and the see saw correctly. Somewhere in between one more pole fell. Since Mistress sometimes "stands stupidly in my way" in the course I overlooked an obstacle and we got a refusal.

Did I tell you that I love the weave poles and work it really quickly?!

Hm ... well ... That day I was so quick that I made the last part wobble and keel ... Mistress maintains that the weave poles did not stand fast?! I say I conquered it with my speed ...

I also have to mention that Mistress was very happy with my performance at the Jumping. Not a single pole fell. Mistress did manage to "produce" a coupe of refusals though ...
